Creating a Virtual Background for Zoom

One of the biggest changes that you've likely noticed in the real estate industry since COVID is that more and more of your meetings are actually happening virtually. You're using platforms like Zoom and Google Meets and other similar tools to connect with clients, colleagues, brokers, and more. But here's the thing, you may not always wanna share the inside of your home or a coffee shop or wherever you are with everyone you talk to.

So let's talk about how you can create a great virtual background for all of your meetings in the Agent Elite Design Studio. First, go to the specialty design packs and then navigate to the typography area and scroll down to the very bottom. Now, this may take a second to load, but once you're there, go to the zoom background section and you'll see a couple of options. I'm going to use the darker one here to give you a quick preview of how this works, but you can use either. Let's go ahead and create this design.

Now once your design is opened up, consider making whatever adjustments you think it needs to make it look good. In this case, I'm going to adjust the sizing of the right hand logo. I want to make it a little bit larger. I think it'll make it look more balanced.

Okay, and now I wanna realign it with the left hand logo, so I'm gonna make sure that they are parallel to one another.

Okay, perfect. Now I wanna highlight both of them and make sure that they're centered on the screen. So I'm gonna adjust them until that purple line shows up. All right, now I'm gonna move my web address from the bottom of the screen to the top of the screen so that it's visible while I'm in meetings. And now I do wanna make sure that I click on that and I center it on the page. Again, I'm looking for that purple line.

Once you're happy with the way that your design looks, all you need to do is hit save and then go ahead and download your new virtual background. And then you can upload it into your zoom profile and use it in meetings moving forward. Step-By-Step Instruction

Step 1: Access the Virtual Background Templates

• Start by opening the Agent Elite Design Studio.
• Go to the specialty design packs and select the typography area.
• Scroll down to the Zoom Background section. 
• Choose the design you'd like to use for your virtual background. 
• Click Create This Design.

Step 2: Customize Your Virtual Background

• Adjust the location and size of all elements to ensure visibility (keep in mind that this will be behind you in meetings)
• Make sure that all images are aligned with one another and the presentation looks neat and balanced.

Step 3: Save and Download Your Virtual Background

• Once you're satisfied with the design, click Save.
• Then, download the new virtual background to your computer.

Step 4: Upload the Background to Zoom or Other Virtual Meeting Platforms

• Upload the background to your Zoom profile or any other virtual meeting platform. This will allow you to use your new customized background in future meetings.
